According to the data released by CISA (China Iron and Steel Association), Chinese registered steelmakers have contributed a daily crude steel output of 1.6691 million tons in late April of this year, increasing by 52000 tons from middle April. Meanwhile, Chinese average daily crude steel output is estimated to stand at 2.035 million tons in late April, jumping by roughly 30000 tons versus middle April.
From the above data, we could see that that the domestic steel output is still hovering around comparatively high levels. Thus, it is very difficult for the domestic steel market to emerge a vigorous price trend for steel products even though the current season belongs to the peak season for steel consumption.
